It's in our name - Lothian Electric Machines - and we have been manufacturing electrical components found either in, or powering products worldwide since the start. From motors to computer components, Lemac has been part of the local economy and community for decades.
As a company Lemac have always been sustainability and environmentally focused, achieving ISO 14001 in 2004, and prompting a circular economy from concept to delivery in our products. Not only has this lead to saving 1,363 tonnes of CO2 and counting, but also our Skunkworks team are encouraged to find innovative uses for our components.
We've worked with battery technology for over 30 years, and pioneered the use of them in our other products.
