Hyundai Motor has revealed its latest addition to the award-winning IONIQ lineup: the IONIQ 9, a striking three-row, all-electric SUV. Unveiled at the iconic Goldstein House in Los Angeles, the IONIQ 9 embodies Hyundai's vision for blending design innovation, advanced EV technology, and a commitment to sustainability. Set to hit the U.S. and Korean markets in early 2025, this flagship EV promises to elevate the standard for spacious, luxury electric SUVs.


The IONIQ 9 distinguishes itself with sleek "Aerosthetic" styling, merging aerodynamic efficiency with futuristic design. Key features include a streamlined roof, flush surfaces, and signature Parametric Pixel lighting. With a generous wheelbase of 123.2 inches, the IONIQ 9 boasts expansive cabin space for up to seven occupants.

The interior emphasizes comfort and versatility, offering fully reclining Relaxation Seats and swiveling second-row seats that create a unique face-to-face configuration. The innovative Universal Island 2.0 console enhances convenience with adjustable positioning and ample storage. The IONIQ 9 will debut at the LA Auto Show and go on sale in Korea and the United States in the first half of 2025, with European availability to follow. Its 110.3 kWh battery supports rapid charging, replenishing from 10% to 80% in just 24 minutes. Available drivetrain options include rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD), with performance models achieving 0-62 mph in just 5.2 seconds.


The IONIQ 9 incorporates sustainable materials such as recycled PET fabrics, eco-processed leather, and bio-based paints. Advanced technologies include Hyundai AI Assistant for intuitive voice control, over-the-air (OTA) software updates, and Features on Demand, enabling users to customize their vehicles with digital upgrades.
